1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ScoreMyResume.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Description of Service
ScoreMyResume provides AI-powered resume scoring and rewriting services to help job seekers improve their resume's compatibility with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). The service is provided on an "as is" basis. ATS scores and rewrite suggestions are generated by AI and are intended as guidance only -- we do not guarantee employment outcomes.
3. User Accounts
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose, to submit content that infringes on any third party's rights, to attempt to reverse engineer or copy our AI scoring system, to resell or redistribute the service without written permission, or to submit false or misleading information. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions.
5. Payments and Refunds
Free tier usage is provided at no cost. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $26/month and may be cancelled at any time. Single rewrite credits are billed at $8 and are non-refundable once the rewrite has been generated. Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you experience a technical failure that prevented you from using a paid feature, contact us within 7 days for a credit.
6. Intellectual Property
The ScoreMyResume platform, including its design, code, and AI systems, is owned by EMERSON BUSINESS SUPPORT SYSTEMS and protected by intellectual property laws. Your resume content remains your property. By submitting content to our service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it for the purpose of generating your score and rewrite.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that ATS scores will accurately predict outcomes with any specific employer's hiring system. AI-generated content should be reviewed and verified before use.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EMERSON BUSINESS SUPPORT SYSTEMS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to lost employment opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts of Clark County, Nevada.
